Bill History

 

May 1, 2008 - Joint Committee on the Judiciary issues study order to allow for additional study time.

 

March 4, 2008 - Joint Committee on the Judiciary holds public hearing on Senate, No. 966.

 

January 11, 2007 - Senate Clerk assigns tracking number (SD01348), bill number (Senate, No. 966), and study committee (Joint Committee on the Judiciary).

 

January 10, 2007 - Senate sponsor is found and bill is refiled with the Senate Clerk's office.

 

January 9, 2007 - Amended bill proposal resubmitted to all 120 members of the Massachusetts General Court after House Rules Committee declines to approve late filing.

 

July 20, 2006 - Senate Ethics and Rules Committee approves late filing and forwards bill to House Rules Committee for concurring vote.

 

April 13, 2006 - Senate sponsor is found and bill text is amended and filed with Senate Clerk's office. Clerk assigns tracking number (Senate Docket #2621) and study committee and sends bill to Senate Ethics and Rules Committee for late filing approval.

 

Feb. 6, 2006 - Initial bill proposal submitted to all 120 members of the Massachusetts General Court (state legislature) in Boston, Massachusetts.
